My parents (Julian's Kung Kung and Paw Paw) have been helping Robin and I come up with a Chinese middle name for Julian. They sent us a list of possible characters (the name will be two characters), and we've been having fun pairing things. Robin seems to concentrate more on the sound of the name, while I like looking at the meanings.
However, in the list of permutations, we've run across a lot of names that really won't fly in the US. For instance, we won't be calling him Hai Gai, Hai Hung, Hai Man, Yung Man, Hung Man, Hung Yung, Yung Gai... I promise we love you too much to inflict such names on you!
